ABOUT US
We are a small antique furniture restoration business securely situated in an old coach house in the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire (near Maidenhead and Windsor). We use traditional restoration methods and take great care to ensure that the furniture in our care is sympathetically restored. We have a large stock of old and antique wood with original surfaces, old handles, locks, castors and hinges, so that exactly the right piece can be used for your repair.
We employ only qualified crafts-people who take pride in their work, and who will take good care of your furniture. We aim for the best possible standard of work - it is important to us that our customers are happy.
SERVICES OFFERED
ESTIMATES
A small charge is made for insurance estimates, however all other estimates are provided free. When requested a pre-restoration survey will be supplied, and then a report on work done and materials used, with photos.
CARRIAGE
If required, we collect and deliver furniture and when unable to move items ourselves, we can recommend a reputable removals firm.
INSURANCE
While in our care your property will be protected by our insurance. Any items of very high value will be individually insured.
MAINTENANCE
We provide comprehensive support for furniture in your home - waxing, gluing small pieces back and carrying out minor repairs when furniture is too large to move.
